First, right after you buy the 12
Minute Affiliate system and signed in, you’re greeted with a check
list.
Each box you must check is a task that you must complete. The
tasks are meant to teach you and complete the steps it will take to get online
and making money. They start off nice and easy. If you have not already, 12
Minute Affiliate instructs you to start a ClickBank
account. It’s quick and easy.
Now comes the big bad Autoresponder. Your first question is most likely “What is an autoresponder?” Try not to feel too bad, most people do not know. Simply, an autoresponder is a tool that collects emails addresses and then sends emails to your soon to be formed list (more on that a little later.)
12 Minute Affiliate has you sign up with AWeber. That is one of the longer tasks but like it says, 12 Minute Affiliate only takes 12 min.
After you sign up with AWeber, then you will set your autoresponder to get ready to collect your email addresses and send out emails automatically (hence AUTORESPONDER). 12 Minute Affiliate gives you 80 email swipes (technical jargon meaning emails you can "SWIPE" or use) that are already to go and hook right into AWeber. That’s at least 3 months of emails.
Your more than halfway through at this point and you should
be ultra-proud of yourself. You 1) Took action and 2) Made it this far. That is
an achievement. Now let’s finish strong!
Now you have options when it comes to setting this up. You can do it yourself (which I highly recommend, it’s the best way to learn) or you can go another route. If you have a bigger budget and just want to make money (not learn), or just don’t believe you have the technical skills needed (believe me, you do). You can have it DFY (DONE FOR YOU). All you do is tell them which niche (industry) and they set up the rest. This is completely OPTIONAL. This by the way, is an extra fee.
You are completely set up. Only one thing
left to do now. Get traffic.
THE LAST STEP….FINALLY!!! Just kidding with you. It was a
very quick and painless process. In maybe a 1hr, you are up and running and
ready to hit the road. Now the last but soon to be all encompassing step you
will haunt you every waking moment. GETTING TRAFFIC. Getting traffic is a
multi-pronged situation. The first way I’m going to talk about getting traffic
is what may be obvious to some and new to others which is PAY FOR IT.
With getting traffic, you again have options.

It’s pretty generous too. (There are other programs that pay more commissions, but
this is good for starting out.) You can get commissions of up to $456.48 from
one sale.
The compensation is 50% of whatever you sell. (As you become
more advanced, you’ll find other products that compensate 100%) There is the
main product that is $9.95 for the first 14 days then it’s $47 a month. That covers
1 niche. Then there is the $97 plan which covers all 3 niches (best value in my
humble opinion). There are what is known as up sales (upgrades for more access
to more of the product.)
